Travel and Expense Accountant

The Travel and Expense Accountant is responsible for processing of travel expenses and the knowledge of all internal procedures related to Solar Business Travels. This position will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of professional customer service with our internal customers and other departments.
The position is for limited period 1 year.

What will be your task at this position?

 Travel and Expense Accountant is responsible for processing of travel expenses
 Manage Travel & Expense (T&E) system including Audit Rules as well as administrative and maintenance tasks
 Maintain users in the T&E system, working in collaboration with the corporate credit card program administrators
 Final authority for all expense reporting submissions ensuring company policies and procedures are followed while making expense report audit decisions
 Responsible for Internal and External communication regarding travel
 Identify credit card payment delays and alerting users as needed
 Internal expert on the usage of the Travel & Expense system functionality
 Train new employees and conduct ongoing internal training on all the T&E processes and policies
 Serve as the main point of contact for all travel and expense questions
 Partner with appropriate departments and personnel to revise and update travel policy as needed
 Troubleshoot system and user access issues
 Cross work and support all departments/divisions throughout the organization on travel initiatives
 Prepares journal entries/reconciliations relating to travel and expense reimbursements
 Initiate improvements of processes to increase efficiency

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

 Associates degree in Business/Economics or related
 Proficient English is a must, other language is a bonus
 Experience in general office procedures and 10-key proficiency
 Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines
 Collaborate and effective communication skills, both verbally and written
 Strong interpersonal skills
 Strong presentation skills
 Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple levels of the company
 Perform quality work within deadlines and without direct supervision
 Work effectively as a team contributor on all duties and assignments
 Knowledge of superior customer service standards and practices
 Proficiency in MS Office
